Professionals who work in the pediatric or child-care ward can wear light colors with floral prints or cartoon characters to spread cheer and liveliness in their respective wards. On the other hand, nurses assigned to ICU or patients with critical illnesses can wear more solid colors that depict the respond and importance of their wards and the patients under their care. Nurses assigned to labor rooms can wear lighter shades of medical scrubs to make the atmosphere comfortable and come across as more responsible, caring and supporting to the new mothers.
