Floyd Mayweather punching with weights/Ab workout?
I saw Pretty Boy Floyd punching with dumbbells in each of his hands on one episode of the show 24/7. However, I’ve read all over the place that this type of exercise is bad for you. If a boxer like Floyd does it in his training, can it really be that bad? Also I’m looking for a body weight workout that will target all the different parts of my core (abs, lower back, etc). Thanks for the help in advance.
most boxers do that. they use small weight, as in 5-10 lbs. ive heard its bad for you but ive done it for a couple years and im ok so i guess its not that bad if you use small weight. but i actually do use like 50-70 lbs weights for upper cuts. idk it depends on your conditioning i guess.
