Kimono White
What color kimono should i wear?
okay, so Im gonna get married this year (yay!) and my groom is going to wear a black and red Star Trek uniform. Im planning on wearing a bridal kimono, but white isnt necessarily my favorite color. What color would go good with black and a burgundy ish red?
My fiance says theres an episode in Star Trek where one of the characters gets married in a kimono, but Im not sure what color it was.
Um.. well, white is pretty much the only color for wedding kimono, but if you are going to break the rules, I would go with seasonal colors.
I don’t suggest bright/vivid colors, because pretty much only “Furisode” has bright colors… and Furisode is for single ladies.
(BTW, I am curious (you can email me if you want) Where will you be buying your kimono, and do you know/have been taught how to wear one? Sorry… I have a strong fascination with kimono.)
