If you’re a Rangers fan, you may be thinking about how the Rangers have never been a terrible team. You’re probably questioning my hockey knowledge right now. You probably can’t believe I mentioned them in this article.
I’ll admit, the Rangers have been pretty consistent since the 2004 playoffs. Finishing in either 5th, 6th, or 7th every year since then.
The thing about the Rangers is that they haven’t had a top team in a really long time. They haven’t been the top 3 team in the Eastern Conference since 1996 and haven’t won a cup since 1994.
This year their different. They’re playing really good hockey right at the beginning of the season. They’re competing with the defending Stanley Cup champions which means that they may be one of the top teams this year.
The problem is that they may not get into the top 3. Since the top 3 spots go to the division winners, they’ll have to compete with Pittsburgh. They may have to settle for 4th.

Henrik Lundqvist has been the starting goalie for the New York Rangers for a while. He’s always been a huge asset for the team.
This year, he’s still a huge asset. His save percentage is around 92.3%, one of the best out of any goalie this year.
I don’t really think there’s much else to say about the Ranger’s goalie except that he’s a reliable player that will be able to carry this team.
Although we cannot really increase the speed of our nervous impulses, we can improve the speed of interpretation and reaction. Think of the first time you played your favourite video game. When I was a kid the game was PacMan and I remember starting out chomping the little dots on the screen and dodging the ghost for about eight seconds before the ghost got the best of me and my PacMan character was disintegrating before my very eyes. But then as I played more and more, my fingers learned how to control the movement with more skill – it was as though I did not have to think about what I was doing – my hands just reacted. This is what I am trying to do with the following drills – expose you to numerous blocker and glove saves training your body how to react.
Biggest Weaknesses
The biggest problem for the Ranger right now is penalties. They have taken the 4th most amount of penalties so far in the season with 42. 5 of those were major penalties.
The other weakness that I see in the Rangers is depth. They’ve got a lot of good players but they may be a little to one-dimensional. I think that they may be relying a little too much on their first two lines. If somebody gets injured they’re not going to have an easy time replacing them.
This’ll be something to watch for as the season goes on. But, for right now, they’re doing a great job, playing good hockey, and most importantly, putting on a good show for the fans You can be published without charge.
