The fundamental diagnostic information is retained in the CM chip of LTO tape cartridge. This information is about the data amount recorded/read, %age of the record errors, age of the LTO tape cartridge and the quantity of cartridge loads. This information can be accessed through standard barcode scanning technique combined with the radio frequency reader. Therefore the data mangers have the key logistic and diagnostic data on their fingertips because of the Fuji DC analyzer. In this way the managers can immediately detect the problem and helps in sending sensitive information to 3rd party for evaluation. It also helps to avoid backup issues without accessing the tape drive. Data cartridge analyzer is the latest and advanced tool.
