new punching bag? new type?
i have a 80 lb everlast punching bag and its filled with sand…i use it for mma training…i want to get something that i can work on my low kicks on like leg kicks etc. obviously the sand is pulled toward the ground by gravity, and the bottom of the bag gets hard. what can i use that is the same consistency of hardness all the way up and down the bag? can you give me a link to a site online or something or let me know where to find it?

Why don’t you re-pack your bag?
If it’s made like mine, you can unzip the top and take out the stuffing and the sand bags and re-pack it properly. You put down a layer of stuffing in the bottom, add sandbags, pack stuffing, add sandbags, etc. until the weight is spread evenly top to bottom.
If you have a sewn type bag, and want a new one, get a high quality Muay Thai bag. They are also called “banana bags”. They are longer, slimmer, and are made for both punching and kicking.
