St Has Introduced A Multi-Standard High-Definition Tv, Dvd, Set-Top Boxes And Automotive Entertainment Center Single-Chip Solution
STMicroelectronics today announced the world’s first to support high-definition H.264/AVC and VC1 standard single-chip set-top boxes (STB) solution, which prepared the standard will facilitate the next generation of quality consumer video digital player systems and broadcast services. For the digital video recorder (DVR) applications, new devices built-in a variety of peripheral interfaces, including serial, ATA and USB 2.0 and so on, therefore, the manufacturer or the user you want to add new features, to the set-top box or DVD video player is very easy to increase peripheral . Because it can stagger the time watching TV, and now MP5 Players viewers using digital video with increasing frequency, through the USB interface can be digital cameras, printers and memory cards connected to the set-top boxes.
